The Never Ending Project

Sometimes you work on a project so long it just becomes part of your daily life. You think it will never end, like that relative that needs a place to stay for a few days that turn into weeks, then months, and eventually years. But eventually it's over and you have to figure out what you're now going to do with yourself.

I have to admit I've sometimes worked on something so long I get tired of looking at it. But this one has stuck with me. I still love it as much as the day I started it. Which is a good thing because it would be a shame to spend this much time on something and not wish to display it!

This project has so much history with me. It accompanied me on an Alaskan cruise, to so many doctors appointments and spent long hours with me when I didn't have the energy to do anything else. This one is special. I almost can't believe it is finished.

  2. Christine, what a work of art. All that time!!! I don't think I'd have the fortitude to hang in there like you did. Love your new studio, by the way.
